Context
Personal finances often live across spreadsheets, notes and disconnected apps. People need one workspace to see salary, expenses, savings goals and purchase plans — with automation for recurring operations and clear signals when spending drifts.
Objective
Give individuals a practical flow: set up salary and categories, log expenses, automate recurring movements, track savings and wishlists, and stay informed through dashboard KPIs, budget alerts and optional AI tips.
Solution
A Laravel 11 + Blade + Tailwind product with Alpine.js and Chart.js. Domain services handle salary, transactions and optional Gemini advice. Artisan schedules credit salary, deduct recurring expenses and send Resend budget alerts above 70% of salary. DomPDF exports history. Auth uses Laravel Breeze with email verification and a demo account exception. Deployed with Docker on Render (Frankfurt) against Supabase PostgreSQL.

MoneyMind is a full-stack personal finance product built for individuals who want a clear view of their money in one place. Users configure their monthly salary, track one-off and recurring expenses with private categories, set monthly and annual savings goals, and fund purchase wishlists with progress tracking. The dashboard surfaces available balance, monthly income vs expenses, Chart.js visualizations by category and month, recent transactions, and in-app notifications. Scheduled jobs automate salary credits and recurring expense deductions. When spending exceeds 70% of salary, users receive email alerts via Resend. Optional Google Gemini integration delivers personalized financial tips based on the user’s real data. The app includes a marketing landing page, responsive dashboard (mobile sidebar navigation), Laravel Breeze authentication with email verification, PDF export of transaction history, Dockerized deployment on Render with Supabase PostgreSQL, and a seeded demo account for instant exploration.
