Browse, book and manage professional events — with tickets, reservations and an operations dashboard.
Context
Professional events need a public face and an operations back office. The product had to feel credible as a venue-facing website, while still running reservations, tickets and reporting.
Objective
Deliver a complete event product: discovery and booking for attendees, ticket generation for entry, and a dashboard for the people running the programme.
Solution
A Next.js front of house with a NestJS and MongoDB backend. Public pages present the programme. Authenticated users manage reservations and profile. Admins operate events, bookings and analytics. Tickets are generated as PDFs with unique QR codes. Email, Docker and CI/CD are part of the delivery.
Product
Eventia is an event management platform for conferences, seminars, workshops and training sessions. Visitors browse events, reserve seats and receive PDF tickets with QR codes. An admin dashboard tracks revenue, attendance, events and bookings. Authentication uses JWT with role-based access. Transactional emails are sent automatically.
